Features:
1. Prostate Palpation:
① Normal prostate: chestnut shape, transverse diameter 4cm, vertical diameter 3cm, anteroposterior diameter 2cm. There is
a longitudinal shallow groove in the middle of the back of the prostatic body, the prostatic sulcus.
② Benign prostatic hyperplasia: first-degree hyperplasia of the prostate, enlarged prostate, the size of a simulated egg, the back
of the prostate is flat, and the middle sulcus becomes shallow.
③ Benign prostatic hyperplasia: second-degree prostatic hyperplasia, moderately enlarged prostate, the size of a simulated duck egg, and the disappearance of the middle prostatic sulcus.
④ Benign prostatic hyperplasia: third-degree prostati hyperplasia, severely enlarged prostate, regular surface, hard texture, imitating the size of a goose egg, and the bottom of the prostate cannot be touched.
2. Rectum Palpation:
① Normal rectum
② Rectal polyp: more solitary, most of which are pedicled polyps.
③ The earlier period of rectum cancer: a hard knub can be touched
④ The later period of rectum cancer: a bigger knub can be touched, irregular shape, and much harder than earlier period.
It’s the latest development of rectum cancer.
